Hello students! As we go through this year, we will be getting to know each other. I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself.
I am from Edgefield, SC where I attended school from elementary to high school. After graduating Strom Thurmond High School, I attended the University of South Carolina at Aiken. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Education for USC. I also have an M.Ed. in Education which I received from Lander University in Greenwood, SC. I have taught grades K-12 for 25 years now!
Now for interesting facts about me...
I am VERY energetic!
I am self-motivated and optimistic.
I love classical literature (so much so that I received a minor in Elizabethan art and literature)
I have a Jack Russell Terrior named Jack Trevor O'Reiley!
I also have a Beagle/Feist mix named Hank!
My favorite past times are hiking, fishing, antiques, and building projects.
Favorite book: Anything by John Steinbeck and "The Last Lecture", by Randy Paucsh
